Day 1
Meet on arrival at airport and transfer to Hotel for rest.
Afternoon: sightseeing tour of Negombo. Fishermen returning from Old World, fishing craft like the outrigger canoe and catamaran boats. See the Dutch Buildings, Dutch Canal and Hindu Temple.
Dinner and over night at Hotel

Day 2
Leave to Ancient Cities of Anuradhapura enroute to Polonnaruwa.
Visit archaeological sites and Aukana Buddha Statue
Check in at Hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3
After breakfast visit archaeological sites and also visit a
woodcarving factory.
Afternoon free.
Optional safari tour of Minneriya National Park to see
wild life can be arranged.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel

Day 4
After breakfast leave for Kandy
Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (probably the 8th wonder of the world)
View the Famous Frescoes. If you desire a climb to the top is possible.
Also visit a Batik Factory and the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, and Spice Garden.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel, Kandy.

Day 5
After breakfast leave for pinnewala Elephant Orphanage and then the Botanical Garden, The Peradeniya Campus, Golden Roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined.
Visit the Gem Museum.
Sightseeing the Ancient Capital of Kandy ending with a cultural dance in the evening and dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 6
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya visiting a
tea plantation and tea factory.
Sightseeing at Nuwara Eliya and the surrounding area with dinner and
overnight at Hotel Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7
Sightseeing at Nuwara Eliya on way to Colombo via Kitulgala and view the many waterfalls and the scenic beauty of the hill country.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel, Colombo.

Day 8
After breakfast visit Colombo museum
The tour ends.
